All done

I’m now trying this wordpress thing, joy to my life. I’ve copied the most recent posts over here from my blogspot blog but I’m going to keep writing there for a few more weeks and phase it out I suppose. This should be interesting.

    Awesome theme!

    The lime green is almost completely unreadable, which is absolutely essential for a good blog!

    I absolutely demand that my readers work harder than me!

    So like what you think, change the theme? There were a couple of others that I rather liked, I just thought the header image was nice for me the cow :P

    I’ve been considering the move from blogger since having some real problems with my blog in recent months (I joined amatomu.com and my blog went to number 1, all the extra traffic knocked my blogger page off kilter…. But, I gues you get what you pay for, and since the blogger is free one tends to get that level of service).

    By the way, your theme is lovely!

    I started out on Blogger and then stayed on blogger out of convenience really, since my phone can upload photos right to a new post but I was honestly getting really tired of the bar at the top of the page. WordPress is free though if you go for the basic package like I’ve done :) And look you get funky little smiley faces too! If it wasn’t for the top bar I’d probably have stuck to it though, it is very convenient and easy for the lazy people like me!

    This theme is easier to read, although the text is quite tiny.

    What the fuck is up with that shit?

    When I get home, I’m taking all that white shit the hell off my web site.

    From now on, it’s all just gonna be black. Black text. Black graphics. Black background. Just black. Everywhere black.

    Every time I think I’m definitely going to move from Blogger they fix one of the annoyances, so I keeop both Blogger and WordPress bloggs.

    The current Blogger annoyance is that posts in the afternoon are shown as being posted 12 hours earlier, so that they appear behind posts posted in the morning.

    Yes! That was a HUGE annoyance for me. I tried what I could with every time zone to fix it but nothing would help so I just gave up.

    Hi Psychotic Cow,
    WordPress is the best blogging platform, but take it from me, don’t get sucked into the wordpress.com free hosting thing. If you want to go for WP, get paid hosting… unless you just want something basic that won’t let you play around with it… well, I hate being unable to toy around with it, which is why I picked blogspot, which lets me fine-tune it however I like (although its features are pretty much crap, as is the new system they introduced).
    Anyway, just a suggestion. :)
    By the way, you can always change the header image on the templates… well, that’s the most that wordpress.com allows you to do with templates anyway…

    Will look into the paid hosting at some point, right now I couldn’t be bothered though. See, I’m too lazy to even make a nice header and change that :P *adds to the list of things I’ve procrastinated on*
